Hassan-James Abbas, an Ohio doctor, was sentenced to six months in jail and two years of probation for force-feeding abortion pills to his girlfriend after ordering them online using his estranged wife's identity. Abbas pleaded no contest to four felony charges including unlawful distribution of an abortion-inducing drug and identity fraud, and his medical training certificate was suspended by the State Medical Board of Ohio.

More than 1,000 Ohio doctors, including those who perform abortions and sex changes, signed a letter opposing a major state medical association's endorsement of Republican Vivek Ramaswamy for governor. These doctors expressed their support for Democrat Amy Acton following the association's political arm endorsement decision last week.
